In Nuwara-Eliya

So we've made a trip to Nuwara-Eliya---it's amazing! TEA <3 There are hills and hills of tea leaves! It's kind of cold here too, like Canada =) I'm loving the fact that I can wear my jeans for a few days =)

On the way here we could see the change from the tallest of tall palm trees, then to rice patties/fields...then to these amazing tall trees, beautiful hills, all filled with TEA LEAVES! <3 oh how i love tea. =)

There was a solar eclipse here today too! =0 Amazing stuff! I looked through this glass (i think it had soot or something on it) and if you got it in the right angle, the sun became red and you could see the moon covering it. =)

OH!!! MONKEYS!!! They're everywhere here in Nuwara-Eliya! =) SO AMAZING =D They're so adorable =D They remind me of Roops. =) We first saw them at this beautiful waterfall. =) They were pretty much begging. lol. =) You can see them pretty much everywhere--especially in the trees of course! hahahaha. While we were driving me and mom were pointing at all the trees thinking we were looking at monkeys.....when really it was just jackfruit hanging of the trees. =D hahahahaha. too funny.

Roops....oh! Roopees! (The currancy here) I used some of my roopees to buy my first Sri Lankan chocolate (that i've actually bought myself). =) It tasted pretty good.
